アーモンド開花

アーモンドの花

月曜日には桜の開花が報じられましたが、我が家のアーモンドもようやく咲きました。

暖かいところの植物なので、どうも生育が遅いですが毎年多少なりとも大きなピンク色の花をつけてくれます。桜に比べて大輪で、かなり派手目なピンク色。桃の花とよく間違われます。
